Dr. Don Hanson brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as a General Practitioner. Practising medicine since 2008, Dr. Hanson has developed expertise in a broad range of medical disciplines, including General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, and Paediatric Surgery. He was selected to provide elite athlete care during the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow (2014) and the Gold Coast (2018).

In 2016, Dr. Hanson relocated from Scotland to the Gold Coast, where he further honed his skills in general practice and community health. A Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he also serves as an Assistant Professor at Bond University, mentoring the next generation of medical professionals with a focus on delivering quality, evidence-based care.

Now practising in South Brisbane, Dr. Hanson combines his professional expertise with a friendly, approachable manner, ensuring a patient-centred approach to care. His consultations prioritises careful attention to detail, ensuring no aspect of a patient’s health is overlooked. Dr. Hanson’s commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care empowers individuals to maintain optimal health while effectively managing both acute and chronic conditions with precision and compassion.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hanson enjoys spending time with his young family and travelling to explore new cuisines and cultures.
